Raymond Slaidins Art

Watercolor has always been and still is my favorite technique for recording bold impressions (in place of a camera, which gives an exact image). I enjoy watercolors especially because of its playful ease of use and often resulting accidental effects. With my watercolors there are no corrections or changes – it is spontaneous and instant brushwork. Seldom I consider it as final artwork – for me it is only an exercise or a study for something to complete later.
